I find it very charming that for Harry Dresden, "Evil Subconcious Version of Self" translates into, "Probably just a version of me that knows how to use hair product and owns cooler black clothing".
This was just painted from vague memory of JButcher's description of HasItTogetherMaybeABitEvil!Harry, but I wanted to read the scene again when I was posting this...and look what I found on google books! Oh, btw. If you managed to sneak in exasperated fondness for the TV show, before book canon made it unwatchable, I recommend to give a chance to 'Lucifer', its pretty much what TV adaptation of Harry be like if his subconsciousness was the dominant personality, cooler black clothing, hair, no inhibitions of any kind, no endless 'Magic doesn't exist' to his 'Murphy'(oh, that one does have a kid, and it used well
), more confidence, but still very recognizable, if you look for it.
